How to Use Microbiocide
Specially formulated and manufactured in Australia for the agriculture, horticultural, plantation, construction and mining industries.
This microbiocide is a disinfectant cleaner, sanitiser, microbiocide, algaecide, and fungicide protects plants from bacteria, fungi, and other soil borne nasties.
Contains 100g/L Benzalkonium Chloride, non-hazardous, non-acidic, non-caustic, biodegradable, and non-bleaching.
What do I use it for?
Benzalkonium Chloride kills any microbes on contact, so you can apply it to cuttings or live plants to eliminate anything that might harm your plants. It also acts as a surfactant, which means that it creates fine film over the surface of the cuttings, preventing any new microbes from entering. You can also use this to sanitise cutting tools, gloves, and implements between use.
How do I use it?
Dilute to 15-20% depending on the severity of the problem, then fill into a spray bottle. Shake and spray directly onto the surface of the affected plant, or onto whatever you are using it for.
Please note that this can be too harsh for certain plants, so be sure to test on a single leaf before applying to the entire plant.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Will damage eyes. Will irritate the skin. Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
FIRST AID: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 131126. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water.
